Dr.Baddaky Europe AB har i samarbejde med SweVet og ICF fornøjelsen af at invitere Danske Dyrlæger til tre faglige seminarer med temaet:
Antibiotic resistance problems in veterinary dermatology
Forelæser: Professor Luca Guardabassi, University of Copenhagen, Faculty of life sciences
His main areas of research are antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial therapy and bacterial zoonoses. Present research primarily focuses on epidemiology and control of multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria of clinical relevance such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus. aureus (MRSA), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MRSP) and Escherichia coli producing extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL). In recent years he has developed a strong interest in optimizing antimicrobial therapy for reducing the impact on selection of bacterial resistance.
Proffessor Guardabassi has written over 100 international publications since 1998, including 3 book chapters, 67 articles in peer-reviewed journals and more than 30 oral contributions to international conferences. He is the first editor of a book on antimicrobial use in animals published by Blackwell in 2008.
Vi er meget stolte af, at Luca har sagt ja til at deltage i syv seminarer om dette vigtige og hotte tema.
